On Monday, February 6, 2023, the world woke up to the shocking news of the earthquake that hit the southern areas of Turkey and the Northern parts of Syria. Based on the Turkish authorities, the earthquake recorded a 7.8 magnitude on the Richter scale and was followed by numerous aftershocks.This tremendous incident left tens of thousands of injured people and at least 24,000 deaths recorded. Based on the UN, over 15 million people were affected by this earthquake, with at least 5.3 million Syrians being left homeless, without aid, and without medical care.
In response to this tragedy, Willow Care team decided to open Willow Crisis to enable FREE online medical consultations to all the affected in Syria & Turkey. All Arabic, Turkish, and English-speaking Doctors are strongly invited to provide voluntary consultations via the app when possible.
